How does it work?

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, all-natural technique promoting a more balanced brain by measuring and training the brain’s electrical activity. Using a computer interface, it utilizes operant conditioning to train your brain to stay in an optimal balance, maximizing your brain’s potential; thereby optimizing your performance.

People everywhere are using biohacking methods to promote health and performance in order to gain that edge. Neurofeedback gives both insight and change into the powerhouse behind our performance and presentation-our BRAIN! Neurofeedback promotes new neural pathways and strengthens current ones to promote flexibility and a stronger brain, maximizing your brain’s performance by giving it better access to its resources, results in a healthier YOU!

What to expect from Brain Training?

Neurofeedback training is a non-invasive, relaxing experience. You will have electrodes placed on your head which allows the program to “read” the electrical activity in your brain in real-time. This activity changes day by day and moment by moment based on a variety of external and internal stimuli. Having access to the real time activity allows the training to have maximum effectiveness.

The clinician will set up the computer parameters based on the training protocol. As you sit in a comfortable chair, the program will guide you through a series of games or movies. The games and movies may pause, shrink, or have the sound level change as your brainwave activity goes in and out of the set ranges. This immediate, consistent feedback to the brain encourages it to stay within a balanced state. Over time, through the process of neuroplasticity, the brain adjusts its own electrical activity to bring it closer and closer to the desired state of balance. As it becomes more balanced and neuropathways are strengthened and new ones are formed, symptom changes become stronger and more evident.

The first few sessions, your brain adjusts to the training and learns how to respond. After that, the brain moves into a full training mode allowing you to start experience progress to your goal as early as 15 sessions in.
